Following graduation from FIT, Ms. Pomerantz was hired at Betsey Johnson and soon thereafter was promoted. Ms. Pomerantz describes her experience working closely with the designer as a dream come true: 'Betsey is everything and more than I could ever have imagined. She exudes color and creativity, while always remaining humble.' After working for Betsey Johnson, Ms. Pomerantz freelanced at the ever-impressive Marc Jacobs. With Betsey's blessing, Dana-Maxx Pomerantz launched her own line in 2007.
