FadMashion Community Guidelines
We created FadMashion to respect and
advance the creative and professional efforts that drive emerging fashion
designers, forward thinking retailers and media. In turn we ask that each of
our members and visitors return the same level of respect to our community upon
each visit and interaction with the FadMashion community and Website.
We trust that our members and visitors
have come to FadMashion either for career development, deep insight and access
to the latest fashions, or for pure enjoyment, and we welcome all individuals
who fall within this realm.
Below you will find some general
points that we think should apply to any professional community, as well as a
few points that are specific to FadMashion’s fashion networking community:
* Respect copyright. Only upload content that you made or that you have
obtained the rights to use. This means you should not upload content you didn't
make or authorize specifically for the intention of promoting your designs or
retail show, or articles if you are a media member.
* FadMashion is not opposed to nudity as long as the nudity is presented
as an integral component to displaying the product image. The human body is a
beautiful thing, and if your product images are enhanced by nude models then
more power to you. Just remember to focus on your images, not your beautiful
models.
* Do not use content at any level that someone else owns the copyright to
without their permission.
* We encourage free speech but we maintain a zero tolerance policy
toward hate speech, which is content intended to attack or demean a particular
gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnic origin, veteran status,
color, age, disability or nationality, predatory behavior, stalking, threats,
harassment, invading privacy, or the revealing of other members' personal
information. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from
FadMashion.
*NO SPAM ALLOWED. You know what it is. Don’t do it. This is a
professional community, and if you lower the standards of the community you
will be told you leave.
All of that said, we do not expect to
have to enforce any of these policies, as each member of our community will be
individually approved. Further, to ensure that our community remains high
quality and professional, we consistently member candidate credentials during
the application process, so you can also be sure that anyone you interact with
as a member on FadMashion is a legitimate designer, retailer or media member.
